Description
Insightful conceptual pieces that colorfully explore the philosophical and the abstract in masterful detail.
|

One of a series of works based on construction of computer games, this piece is a block landscape inspired by the 80s style maps used in the Grand Theft Auto Games. |

Smart is a playful illustration. The idea was taken from the compactness of the 'Smart' car and to simply paint it in a fun way. Very gently wrote in the bottom left is the lyric "is it really so strange" paying homage to a song from an era of the artists favoured decade of car design. |
This is the first and only attempt at a self portrait thus far. It’s deeply personal and hugely intricate in execution. The ode to the 'mother' is an ode to hope. |
This piece is a small yet beautifully painted abstract landscape inspired by 80s urban towns and railways. |
Citi is an abstract landscape. Using the colours that we see in our towns and cities today the scenery builds up with shape and detail to produce an accurate illustrative representation. The abstract areas were designed to relieve the chaos of the CITI. |
Originally done for the Concept For Living Design Show Awards this year. Painted boldly and with careful consideration to colour it is designed to be a painting '.....for modern living, finding a harmony between modern art and modern life. |
 |
Decorative and intricate this is an abstract painting based upon this possible occurrence. The feel is violent and the colours are deep. |
Abstract about man's impact on his own kind. Its obviously hard to fully represent this type of subject fully in one painting and there is a series in progress. The black and white squares represent human beings and all other animals. Every other colour is used and applied in a way to represent, in this picture, war. There is careful consideration though in the execution and composition, making a picture that works in both style and content. |
 |
Using a gently coloured landscape as the blank canvass, the explosion of images and narrative across the body of this painting describe just a few 'issues' of modern living......this could take some time. It contains many references to the 80s and graffiti style. |
Painted in the same style as 'This could take some time', the main difference in this work is the subjects dealt with are of a little more personal in relevance. |
Originating from song of same name (worth researching). The story revolves around the world of Charlotte, and this is a representation of her current surroundings. This is a very nice piece, the dark, faceless statues in the foreground block the streets of accaccia avenue. The houses behind descend into the distance and within them hide the shapes of her life. This is an intricate landscape with huge detail. |
Abstract landscape reflecting (in graffiti humour) the moods and personalities of our towns and cities. The intimidating red towers dominate the character of the buildings beneath them and thus everything within. |
